Shadow Nanoflex Pickup with Endpin Preamp Nanoflex pickups do not only take the vibrations of the strings like common undersaddle pickups. Nanoflex senses the vibrations of the strings AND the body of the instrument simultaneously. No other pickup technology gives you this high level of sound reproduction. SH NFX EP-A is a permanent mount endpin preamp system with Nanoflex undersaddle pickup for acoustic guitar. The battery is mounted in a pouch to the instrument’s side or bottom.

Shadow Quick Mount Nanoflex Pickup with Preamp The SH NFX-AC is an acoustic and classical guitar Nanoflex pickup. The flexible pickup mounts under the bridge saddle and the attached extremely light preamp with 3V cell battery holder, volume control and output socket mounts to the bridge end. 12 foot (4m) cable is included. No modification on instrument needed! Only Nanoflex pickups sense the vibrations of the strings and the movements of the soundboard simultaneously. The sound is sweet and percussive with exact attack. This gives the feeling of having a microphone mixed with an undersaddle pickup.

Baggs RADIUS Transducer Pickup for Mandolin At the heart of the transducer is a highly flexible beam with a .004" thin film sensor, similar to mic diaphragm material, attached to it's surface. The beam is held in equilibrium and damped by another LR Baggs innovation - opposing Neodymium magnets. The sensor floats between the magnets and is not bogged down in viscous fluid or clamped between elastomeric pads, so it is completely free to respond instantly to the smallest nuance without artifact or coloration. Also, the magnets are tuned to progressively damp the sensor and respond naturally to the dynamics of the instrument. The Radius may be mounted to the outside surface of the instrument with a removable, non-destructive adhesive or to the inside with VHB adhesive.
