DELIVERY & RETURNS
Dispatch Policy
We aim to dispatch all orders within 24 hours of receipt.
Orders received before 4p.m. are usually dispatched that day.
If, for any reason we are unable to do so we advise you by e-mail stating the
reason and/or the expected dispatch date.
In the event of not hearing from you we will dispatch at the earliest possible
date.
You may cancel the order at any time before dispatch.
Small items (Under 2 Kg) are usually sent by 1st Class Post
or Airmail if applicable)
Royal Mail Special Delivery Services are also available on request.
Heavier items, such as Amps will be sent by next day
courier (Currently Initial City Link).
Orders for this service should be received before 1p.m to ensure same
day dispatch.
Please note this is a weekday only service, but Saturday deliveries can
be arranged (See note below re cost).
Please note, a signature is required for this service. In the event
of unavailability of signature, a card will be left.
Goods will be held at depot 5 days, after which they will be returned
to StringMail, and a charge will be made for failed delivery or re-delivery
Shipping Costs
Small Items are dispatched WorldWide FREE. (Minimum
Order value £10.00)
A £1.00 admin/carriage fee will be added to any orders under £10.00.
If requested, Special Delivery will be charged at £4.00 extra.
Heavier Items (Usually over 2Kg) are usually shipped
to UK mainland addresses FREE.
Heavy, or Bulky items to addresses outwith the UK mainland and UK Saturday
deliveries will be charged carriage at cost.
Please note this can be expensive, but we will quote you the best
rate we can secure.
We reserve the right to add a carriage supplement on certain heavy or
bulky items but where applicable, this will be shown on the shopping
cart pages.
Delivery/Returns
All goods should arrive in first class condition within 2-3 days. (EU
customers, please allow an extra 2 days). If they do not please contact
us and we will arrange an immediate replacement to be sent.
In event of any item being out of stock, this will be marked “To
Follow”, and an expected dispatch date supplied.
We will only charge your card for items dispatched.
If you are unhappy with your order in any way whatsoever, please return
them to us within 7 days, unused, in their original condition and wrapping
for full refund.
Return carriage will also be refunded for faulty or wrongly supplied
items.
Please include name and order or invoice number on all correspondence.
We pride ourselves on our fast, efficient service. If, however we do
make a mistake, please contact
us and we will immediately forward correct items together
with a stamped packet for return of the unwanted items.
