Our aim is simple:- to be the U.K’s No.1
online supplier of music strings, by offering the finest strings at the
best value via an unbeatable service.
Our ethos is to support string musicians
by providing an on-line resource for strings, selected links and related
useful information, and by promoting and sponsoring fresh string music
to a wider audience.
Who we are:
JIM is our Sales Manager, and is your usual main contact for sales and
other enquiries.
With two previous successful businesses behind him he brings over 30
years of invaluable experience in retail customer care, commitment, and
service to the Company.
Since the late sixties he has been involved in organising, and performing
in, local folk clubs, both in his native London and latterly in his now
long term adopted homeland of Scotland. Delights in bringing fresh talent
to otherwise unsuspecting audiences.
One time singer, guitarist and player of various small button boxes Jim
gave up the guitar after Kieron began to expose his inadequacies and
progressed through fiddle to the Viola and now eagerly awaits the new
instrument that Kieron is currently building for him.
KIERON is our Techy man
After graduating from Napier University in Instrument Repair, Kieron
has now specialises in repairing fiddles and other stringed instruments
for a well known music store.
A talented guitarist, (Doubling Mandolin), his instrument teaching skills
are in increasing demand, both privately and at various educational establishments,
so much so that it now threatens his playing and singing options.
Wide ranging musical interests and taste.
JANE is the backbone of the business and provides logistical and all
manner of practical support.
Her initial training in secretarial work and subsequent employment in
various roles involving export work, wages, accountancy and Directors
P/A., has equipped her with wide ranging skills valuable to any organisation.
CARAGH is our newest team member and handles most of the order processing.
